Global Head, Technology Corporate Functions
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Take the full ownership of the product domain and be responsible for continuously improving it along the corresponding business KPIs
- Drive potential spin-off and set-up of future proof product-led organization as well as technology landscape within Technology Corporate Functions
- Drive transformation to product-led organization within organization unit and act as change & transformation manager of Technology Corporate Functions
- Understand the underlying business capabilities of the domain E2E in order to shape the vision and roadmap of the product and evaluate, challenge, advice tech development. Exemplary business capabilities include communications, strategy, people & organization (incl. recruiting & talent), indirect procurement, legal, ethics and risks, real estate etc. – excluding finance & finance-related functions like planning & forecasting
- Partner with domain leadership peers to lead and develop a high performing organization that continuously and sustainably delivers value to the business
- Lead change in ways of working towards a product-led organization by prioritizing roll-out of product teams within Technology Corporate Functions
Work effectively with product teams
- Hire, motivate, inspire, develop and lead a team of product owners
- Closely collaborate with business stakeholders to define product roll-out
- Closely collaborate with transformation office to ensure overall success of transformation
- Set appropriate KPIs for product area managers / product owners / product teams to incentivize both IT and business success
- Track and analyze business and product KPI’s against business goals and technological capabilities as well as quality goals
- Build clear and effective feedback loops to help define the strategy for the products during their transformative stage
- Ensure defined product standards are applied
- Allocate resources across the domain/ area based on potential value to be captured
- Reprioritize budgets / teams based on emerging business priorities in regular agile budgeting sessions, jointly with business
- Resolve trade-offs between product teams within own domain; mediate between product domains
Other responsibilities
- Partner with CDO, other Domain Leads and stakeholders from business functions to define joint visions, strategy and priorities
- Foster continuous quality improvement culture in the teams
What you’ll bring to the role:
Requirements:
Work Experience:
- 10 years+ of industry experience in IT, healthcare, or pharma
- Functional experience in corporate functions like HR, communications or legal, ideally combined with heavy usage or even build&run with underlying IT applications & tools
- Experience in leading an organization unit with 40+ employees
- Experience in leading large-scale projects managing diverse group of stakeholders
- Experience in managing senior leaders and experts, incl. attract and keep top talent
- Experience and understanding of Agile product development
- Ideally have built and/or run several successful products over the years
- Experienced working in constantly developing matrixed organization with both complex and evolving technology and products
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, manage issues, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risks.
