The University of St.Gallen (HSG) offers a comprehensive portfolio of three leading international Executive MBA programmes. In order to strengthen our programme management team, we are seeking to hire a
Programme Manager
starting immediately or at a date to be mutually agreed upon.
Your tasks:
Your main task consists of the independent organisation and administrative supervision of the implementation of one of our English-language Executive MBA programmes. This includes, among others tasks:
  • Comprehensive support and information for (mainly international) executive students during and between programme modules in St. Gallen and abroad
  • Comprehensive support and coordination of lecturers throughout the course of the programme
  • Organisation and design of module and course infrastructure * Design of supporting programme, such as sporting and cultural events, visits to companies, and panel discussions with entrepreneurs
  • Budget responsibility at the module level
  • Administrative coordination and support of the modules abroad
  • Occasional support for trade fairs and information sessions

Your profile:
  • You have an academic initial education or adequate training in the field of business, service or event management or communication
  • You can work dependably and independently as part of a team
  • You are characterised by a high level of motivation and service excellence
  • You are experienced in dealing with diverse stakeholders on a professional level
  • You look for purposeful solutions and can also implement them
  • You find it easy to connect with different people and facilitate integration
  • You possess excellent communication skills and a confident, professional manner
  • You are highly motivated, resilient, flexible and self-motivated
  • Very good German and English speaking/writing skills as well as good computer skills are a prerequisite
  • Relevant work experience (between 2 and 5 years) in a service-oriented organisation (e.g., hotel sector, event management, organisation of seminars, etc.) is an Advantage
