Help Desk and Support Technician
LUKOIL Technology Services GmbH Vienna Geneva Branch is providing IT Services to LITASCO SA in Geneva.
As part of the IT Helpdesk team, the primary purpose of the Help Desk and Support Technician is to provide support to end-users.
Job purpose:
- Support end-users with a focus on the Windows environment
- Diagnose, solve or escalate technical hardware and software issues
- Logging, qualifying and reporting of all Service desk activities in the system
- Installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining workstations, laptops and printers, using standard business software and procedures
- Installing and maintaining end-user applications
- Identify and escalate recurring issues
- Performing administrative tasks such as password resets, account creation, inventory and printer maintenance;
- Providing, securing and maintaining users with mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops
- Maintaining system procedures, documentation and asset inventory up to date;
- Carrying out projects of different scopes and complexities, such as system migrations, deployment of new systems, implementation of changes, etc.
If you have:
- Minimum 3 years in relevant experience in 1st and 2nd level of IT support or IT engineer roles.
- Experience in the following environments : MS Windows servers & workstations; MS Exchange, MS SQL servers; Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, Android; Hewlett Packard Hardware,Reuters, Bloomberg; WebICE; Business applications
- A service-oriented mindset and always striving to deliver on tasks and projects;
- Flexibility, proactivity and ability to communicate within multicultural settings;
- Team-play mentality;
- Fluent written and oral English.
