The opportunity: Junior Business Finance Analyst ; Fixed-Term Contract : 12 months
Robert Walters as a third party vendor is currently hiring on behalf of their client, HSBC Private Bank.
Reporting to the EMEA Head of Business Performance and Head of Change, the job holder will be contributing to the preparation, interpretation and communication of management information, including monthly reporting and planning.
What you will do:
- Participate to establish and compile dashboards and presentation to the EMEA senior management on revenues, costs, balance sheet, RWAs, headcounts, client assets and Net New Money
- Contribute to the delivery and preparation of timely monthly management accounts, ad hoc/on demand analysis
- Design and maintain data models for analysis and forecasting
- Take active role in the Annual target setting
- Contribute to the preparation of Frontline staffs’ scorecards and performance reviews
- Identify opportunities, any potential issues/risks, run presentations make recommendations to the Finance business partners, CFO and business users
- Potentially do even more depending on your motivation and ambition to grow in our organization
You should apply if you have:
- 2-3 years’ experience in a Financial Control or Financial Analyst role.
- Ability to understand large datasets and experience of data modeling, providing accurate data analysis
- Solid controls background
- Skilled user of Excel and generally at ease with new IT system
- Good communication skills and aptitude to work in a global and complex / matrix organization
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize your workload as well as your stakeholder’s expectations
- Knowledge of the banking sector, ideally of the Private Banking business
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast changing, results driven environment
