What will you be doing?

• Source and analyze long-only funds/managers and alternative investments (such as direct lending, hedge funds) with a primary focus on credit, fixed income. This analysis also includes single bonds and private loans
• Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative fundamental due diligence work
• Actively engage with fund providers, outsourcing partners and other contact groups
• Perform cash management, trade placements and reconciliation for our fund range as part of your assignment
• Provide regular manager and strategy screenings, including various inherent data management tasks and regular reporting duties
• Support a variety of tasks related to our product range and engage in project work

Your education and background

• University degree in finance/economics or equivalent; ideally complemented (or in-progress) by a financial analyst diploma (i.e. CFA, CIIA)
• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the area of investment management preferably in the area of fixed income and/or alternative investments
• Have a good understanding of global financial markets dynamics and correlations of major asset classes to help identify attractive investment opportunities. Excellent quantitative and IT skills (particularly in Excel). Programming skills such as object-oriented language (e.g. C#, C++, Java) and a scripting language (e.g. Python, R)are a strong plus
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken. Communication skills in German is a plus
• Strong team player who is self-driven and able to take and lead initiatives
