Our Support & Engineering team works mainly on the following three priorities:
- It delivers excellent platform support and maintenance services to our existing subscription customers and partner ecosystem.
- With its engineering expertise, the team also supports the Deployment team during ongoing proof of concept and deployment projects, e.g. building new or adapting existing log collectors or other external integrations etc.
- It is responsible for the deployment toolchain and in conjunction with the Deployment and Development team constantly works on new product versions, improving the overall user experience in the tool and strives to improve the detections, the automation and deployment capabilities of our NDR software.
Job requirements
We are looking for: A dedicated head of our Support & Engineering team with the following responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Support & Engineering team, among others involved in prioritization of engineering and support work, people development organizational improvements
- Scale our current support function to increase internal efficiency and keep customer and partner satisfaction on a high level.
- Work in close collaboration with our Sales, Deployment as well as Development teams to ensure the constant improvement of our NDR solution according to stakeholder requirements and customer feedback.
- Define, implement, and document both the integration and the setup of ExeonTrace for various different data sources.
- Drive internal engineering projects forward and support the team in making the split between engineering topics and the support function work.
Requirements/Profile
- Ability to solve problems independently and communicate easily with both our customers and our internal organization.
- You are typically a senior technical support engineer, technical project manager, network engineer, security engineer or analyst or head of a similar team with good experience in IT networks. This means you bring 8+ years of practical experience in the field of TCP/IP networking ideally including:
- Configuration of firewalls and switches;
- NetFlow/IPFIX analysis
- Configuring Unix systems
- Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies
- Experience with data collection and processing (e.g. Elasticsearch and/or OpenSearch)
- Previous leadership experience is a strong plus.
- Cybersecurity/network security experience is a huge plus.
- Business fluent in German and English
