With around 480 employees, KLK Kolb is one of Europe's leading alkoxylators and offers a wide range of surfactants, as well as other chemical specialities and customer-specific production for various industrial sectors. KLK Kolb is part of the global KLK OLEO Group. We sell our products worldwide and currently produce at three sites in the centre of Europe (Hedingen/CH, Moerdijk/NL and Delden/NL).

 To strengthen our team in Hedingen, we are looking for a motivated, proactive and independent personality to report directly to the Head of Accounting in the following position

Specialist Accounting & Financial Management (100%)

Your new job

  • Functional management of the finance department with approx. 4 employees (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable)
  • Responsibility for the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations and IFRS for our two Swiss companies
  • Ensure legal and tax compliance according to Group policies
  • Developing and optimising existing processes according to best practice
  • Responsible for the VAT returns for Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands, as well as monitoring the correct VAT processing in the respective countries
  • Taking an active role in managing foreign exchange and liquidity
  • Responsible for company cars and the management of company expenses
  • Taking responsibility for or working on projects

Your knowledge, your abilities, your experience

  • Completed higher education and further training with a specialisation in finance and accounting (Chartered Specialist in Accounting & Financial Managment or an equivalent qualification)
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance and accounting in an international and industrial group environment in the same position
  • Extensive SAP FI/CO experience (having worked with SAP's other modules, SD and MM, would be an advantage)
  • Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel, and a high level of IT affinity
  • Business fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
  • High initiative, integrity and strong sense of responsibility
  • High level of social skills and enjoyment of collaboration with other departments and teams
  • Service-oriented, reliable and conscientious
  • A proactive, curious, assertive and networked personality with a sense of optimisation potential
  • Team player, flexibility and resilience
  • Your profile is rounded off by a high affinity for numbers, an analytical way of thinking, a precise way of working and the ability to meet deadlines
