IC Accountant (m/f) 60%

The Scenic Group is a leading luxury global travel company with offices around the world and

has grown over its 37-year history to include all-inclusive escorted tours; two award-winning river cruise lines – Scenic and Emerald Cruises; and in 2019, the World’s First Discovery Yacht – Scenic Eclipse. 

We are looking for an independent and team-oriented personality with immediate effect or by arrangement for the position as

Responsibilities

• Preparing all IC recharging files prior to the start of the cruise season
• Issuing AR IC invoices on a weekly basis and updating in Accounting system
• Posting of AP IC invoices
• Ensuring the accuracy of AR invoices issued
• Liaising with IC Accountants working in other jurisdictions
• Reconciling and confirming IC balances on a monthly basis
• Preparing monthly IC elimination entries for consolidation purposes
• Keeping an updated database of all AR IC invoices issued
• Training team members to be the IC Accountant’s back up
• Any other reporting as required by the Group

Experience and Qualifications

• A completed degree in accounting and/or commercial degree
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting positions
• Experienced working in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment
• Used to work in global teams
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
• Experience in SAGE300 and/or Oracle NetSuite is a plus
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willing to take ownership, hands-on, persistent, meet deadlines, team-oriented personality
