Founded on 14th April 1900 in Paris, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body for cycling. Its mission is to develop and supervise cycling in all its forms and for everybody, as a competitive sport, as a healthy recreational activity and as a means of transport and having fun. Additionally, the UCI promotes a number of its own events, including the UCI Road World Championships, an iconic annual event, and a wide range of other UCI World Championships and World Cups across the various disciplines. It is based in Aigle, Switzerland, at the UCI World Cycling Centre.

To join its Sales, Medias, Brand Marketing and Events Department, the UCI is seeking a:

Mission

Reporting to the Directeur Communications, Marketing, Medias and CSR, the Senior Production Officer is in charge of defining the technical and content plan related to all UCI produced events and coordinating the TV live/ content production from the concept to the final results.

For all UCI properties, including the UCI Road World Championships, the Senior Production Officer is responsible for the coordination for all production and distribution topics with the different stakeholders in compliance with all contractual obligations based on the partnership between the UCI and its media agencies, without losing sight of identifying opportunities and chances for new commercial approaches. In a fast-growing environment, the Senior Production Officer works closely together with the Media Production and Distribution Manager who is in charge of media rights management, optimizing distribution of content and boosting audiences.

Main responsibilities

• Oversee audiovisual production for UCI events, managing the entire process from planning to the delivery of content
• Coordinate host broadcasters (HBs) and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
• Optimize the content production to maximize global coverage and audience reach for UCI events
• Collaborate with national federations, local organizers, and internal stakeholders to enhance the visibility and impact of productions
• Manage production resources, budgets, and logistics, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries
• Supervise and implement content strategies, including the integration of archive.

Profile

• Proven experience in audiovisual production and coordination of complex projects
• Bilingual in English and French, with excellent communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of the television industry, including remote and cloud-based production solutions
• IT proficiency: comfortable using IT systems for various administrative and logistical tasks including know in CMS tools
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Proven experience in working under pressure
• Strong interest in cycling and willingness to travel regularly
