Our EHL Hospitality Services entity is looking for a:

Director of Food & Beverage

(Act. rate: 100%)

About the role

You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director of EHL Hospitality Services SA. Your role will be to have a clear professional responsibility to cooperate, collaborate in team-work, provide assistance and support the Executive Chef. There will be a strong collaboration with all Lecturers and Senior Lecturers in the Preparatory Year program.

Line responsibilities

Develop and implement the Food & Beverage and Events concepts;
Lead the management of Events & Banquets:

Manage the service for all point of sales of EHL Group;

Promote actively F&B products as well as the brand in all outlets, boutiques and catering:
Participate in designing the menu & establish the planning in coordination with Executive

Chef;
- Ensure a high quality & diversity of food and beverage products (menu labeling &

classification to inform on allergies, dietary intolerances, etc: )

  • Collaborate with the housekeeping department for ensuring a high quality cleaning of all public F&B areas;
  • Contribute to the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) actions or projects which can be

linked to waste management, environmental strategy, best practices or policies;

Transversal responsibilities

  • Plan development of faeilities & equipment's of Restaurants, bars and outlets in eollaboration with Real estate Serviees;
  • Participate and ensure a smooth integration of Academia education programs:
  • Contribute actively to various projects such as development of new eampus, new point of sales, opening of new campuses or any future projeets;

Management responsibilities

- Manage a team of several professionals by ensuring recruitment, development and

assessment:

  • Ensure a full compliance with hygiene and safety by maintaining & developing policies, procedures and certifications;
  • Manage financial aspects such as budgets, purchasing requests, inventories, cost control,

pricing, profitability and P&L;

  • Establish regular reporting to the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer through management meetings;
  • Participate to the promotion of EHL brand in order to increase EHL's profile within the industry.

About you

  • Bachelor / Master / MBA degree in a relevant field or equivalent diploma:

  • Proficiency in French as well as a very good knowledge of English:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position;

  • Relational ease and excellent in communication, you possess a good sense of initiative and

organization:

  • Able to exercise a natural leadership and make decision, you have the ability to be creative, flexible and results-oriented;
  • You have a strong interest in pedagogy and desire to pass on knowledge to students.
