For our neu facility management department with location Luzern LU, we are looking for an

Facility Manager 60% (ref. D732)

In this function, you will be working in the headquarter of our globally active customer from the life science sector. You develop and oversee the Experience team’s operations as they provide services for a building, with the goal of ensuring that these operations align with client goals and needs.

The successful candidate is responsible for:

  • Drive consistent, quality, service through supervision of other Host employees and third parties supporting multiple experience service types (for example reception/switchboard, meeting & event management, food services, mail services, office supply management, parking & commute, moves, entrance screening protocol, workplace onboarding, etc.)
  • Manage a team of 4 employees, e.g. recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, employee development, etc.
  • Create and manage the overall Experience Services operating budget and determines annual budgets
  • Establish savings goals and creates action plans to improve financial position
  • Negotiate with clients, partners, and associates to resolve conflicting priorities
  • Ensures consistency in support provided by the team through continuous review and improvement
  • Ensures safety standards are met; whether company employees or third-party service providers
  • Manage negotiations for contract services
  • Maintain relationships with vendors
  • Identify content and manage creation of workplace orientation materials and delivery

You like to work in a dedicated team, are comfortable meeting and engaging with new people and have at least three years of professional experience in the field of hospitality industry or facility management. In addition to a clear communication style, you also have the following prerequisites:

  • Strong service and customer orientation
  • High level of attention to detail as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues
  • Ability to forecast and prepare budgets, and conduct financial analysis
  • Able to work in a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment
  • Experience as team manager
  • Fluency in German and English is a must have to be successful in this position
