With an industrial footprint across most geographies, Operations Strategies is the internal consulting team that provides Nestlé with the insight and analysis needed to make the best choices regarding major investments, manufacturing networks optimisation and other strategic decisions in the field of operations. This project based function, relies on a multi-disciplined team performing a range of in-depth analyses on market dynamics, operations, competition as well as full financial evaluation of potential scenarios. Final recommendations are presented to senior management enabling to make decisions in the strategic horizon.

 

As an Internal Consultant, you will strengthen the OS function which enables cross category exposure globally. It will allow you to be involved with some of the key decision processes that help shape our company, and to develop a strong network within Nestlé.

 

You will be part of a cross functional team, based at Nestlé Headquarters in Switzerland working closely with Markets and Strategic Business Units to investigate and assess their needs and determine the most suitable industrial strategy to support the Group long-term competitiveness and profitable growth.

 
 
Key responsibilities
 
  • Define the overall analytical approach in line with the project investment objectives
  • Identify options to address the business needs and enhance operations capabilities
  • Analyse the options from a business, financial and operations perspective
  • Draw conclusions and provide actionable recommendations
  • Present your recommendations to Senior Management 
 
Required profile
 
  • At least 5 years-experience in a strategy consulting group, finance or operations functions (project management experience is a plus) preferably in the FMCG sector
  • A university degree in finance, business, economics or engineering (an MBA is an advantage)
  • Ability to distil information and present conclusions clearly
  • Fluency in English (other languages would be an advantage)
 
 
Mobility

This position could require travel between 20% and 50% of the time
