HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

The candidate will join the Group Consolidation & Reporting team and will be exposed to a variety of activities that are considered strategic to the success of the business. In particular, this person will be responsible for:

  • Monthly flow of goods information gathering process; namely
    • Collection of sales, cost of sales and inventory data by reference
    • Collection of standard cost information by reference
    • Close cooperation and coordination with EAS (IT) department to ensure completeness and accuracy of data throughout the data upload process
    • Managing the process of calculation of a consolidation margin and consolidated inventory
    • Managing the process of calculation of central inventory provision
    • Preventive and detective controls of consolidated inventory and margin
    • Detailed review of consolidated stock and margin at reference level to prevent errors, inconsistency, or unexpected deviations (variance report/main drivers/bridge)
    • Preparation of standard and ad hoc reports for management purposes
  • Cooperation with Master Data team to ensure overall consistency of data (product classifications/network mappings/ etc)
  • Coordination of monthly data collection process in Management reporting (user support/ensure deadlines are met)
  • Integration of new brands or new reporting entities
  • Testing technical impacts and consequences of system upgrades and modifications
  • Act as a back-up to:
    • unrealised intercompany margin elimination process, and
    • sales reporting process.
  • Ad hoc analysis / projects

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

You have 5+ years of experience with a Finance or engineering background / previous consolidation experience is a plus. Fluency in English (French a plus).

You have excellent literacy of ERP systems - familiarity with SAP (SD-MM, FI-CO; BI reporting) is a plus; as well as basic computer tools such as MS Excel.

You are structured, reliable, communicative and diligent in the work performed; process-oriented.

It's required for the ideal candidate to have the following soft skills:

  • Attention to detail, precision and analytical skills;
  • Adequate synthesis level for the purposes of documents prepared for Group management;
  • Ability to communicate with IT counterpart in terms of technical settings
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Self-motivated and autonomous with capability to work independently;
  • Communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Essential availability during the monthly financial closing periods
