QC Planner/ Scheduler (m/f/d)

We are looking for a QC Planner/ Scheduler (m/f/d) for Lonza AG (100%). This is a temporary position for 6 months, with an opportunity for a permanent hire afterwards.

In this role, you will provide planning support to all projects in the Drug Product Services Analytics Department.

Key responsibilities:

  • Actively maintain the schedule of workpackages (release, stability testing and method validations) in the DPS Phys-Chem QC Group's panning system. Schedule individual studies and provide support for re-scheduling and prioritization activities considering Departmental interfaces. Actively identify opportunities for improvement and make proposals for optimization of the current schedule.

  • Provide suggestions for enhancements of the current planning system and make continuous improvements in functionality (in collaboration with representatives of partner Departments). Participate actively in the conceptual design and implementation of a new planning system.

  • Follow strictly all safety and health protection instructions and applicable cGMP regulations

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifikation
  • A degree in e.g. Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a training on the job as analytical lab technician is desirable. Other educational backgrounds will be considered.

  • At least 2 years of experience as a research/ technical assistant in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, preferably in analytics is desirable.

  • Basic understanding of analytical testing requirements in pharmaceutical development

  • Advanced MS Excel skills; Other software skills are an advantage (e.g. database, SQL)

  • Good reporting and documentation skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Detail oriented

  • Enthusiastic and open-minded, with proactive attitude

  • Willingness to learn and carry out new and complex tasks

  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
