Take ownership and accountability of all aspects of quality management, e.g., quality strategy, roadmap, and execution, primarily in the context of IoT asset tracking product suite.
Be a key role in the product and solution development lifecycles by defining quality strategy, standards, and associated processes covering key milestones in the hardware and software development:
Hardware - define the approval criteria and the test requirements focuses on the quality of the of desired product e.g., POC (Proof of Concept), EVT (Engineering Validation Testing), DVT (Design Validation Testing), PVT (Product Validation Testing), MP (Mass Production).
Software - define the approval criteria and the test requirements focuses on the quality of the desired product’s firmware and solution’s software.
Advise and collaborate with the procurement team to define quality requirements & processes in RFI, RFQ, RFP, and supply/service agreements.
Maintain and communicate quality roadmap aligned with the products roadmap.
Drive quality activities closely with R&D, product, operations, supply chain, and logistics teams.
Lead tasks linked to product certifications which are mandatory to launch products in target geographies.
Take full ownership to execute quality activities and processes during the product development, commercial launch, mass production, field issues/RMA, product change management, etc.
Plan, execute and follow up on internal and external audits and drive closure of findings to ensure quality processes are respected.
Manage quality issues linked to customer returns or non-conformities with suppliers and manufacturers. Implement containment actions, and drive failure and root cause analysis with subject matter experts and partners. Initiate and verify corrective and preventive actions. Contribute to failure analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
