We are looking for the Regional IT Manager of our global headquarters in Schaan, Liechtenstein. In this role you assure and coordinate the needed IT Service and Support for all users in Schaan, Nendeln and Buchs, Switzerland. You are the contact person for all local Delivery and Support topics, managing your team of internal staff, contractors and service providers.

What does the role involve?
As Regional IT Manager you assure all IT Support Services (2nd Level Support) for our users, and you are the responsible local contact person for all IT-infrastructure related topics. You are the functional and direct team lead for all IT personnel, including hiring and especially the further development of the team, but also strengthening the user-focus and service orientation throughout the team. As part of this role you are responsible to manage local contractors and providers, in particular onsite support personnel and PC client management. You are responsible for own local IT projects and participate in global Business or IT projects and you assure local IT compliance, e.g. by preparing and participating in IT audits. As part of the Regional Infrastructure Managers group EMEA you will be in close contacts with peers in different locations as well as with Global IT.

What you need is:
Overall responsibility to provide IT infrastructure support at headquarters
Implement and run local IT support and operations, manage the resolution of local IT tickets (2nd Level Support) according to IT standards and agreed Service Level Agreements
Target-group-specific communication of IT service and support topics to the local user community
Direct team lead for all team members at our headquarters including needed hiring and especially the development of the team, identification of talents and integration into Expert Teams
Project accountability for local IT infrastructure projects, or local parts of global projects
Support of local and global Hilti events (e.g. online conferences, kick-off events)
Contract - & service provider management for all IT Services at our headquarters, IT budget responsibility
Assures local IT compliance
Escalation point for all local IT service and support issues
Contribute to global standards, responsible to define and maintain technical documentation and training materials
At least 2-3 years proven membership of a globally oriented IT team
At least 2-3 years proven track record for leading an IT support team
In-depth knowledge of IT client infrastructure environments, including relevant technologies, services and innovations, is able to explain the IT services in a language understood by business
Language: German and English fluently written and spoken, excellent communication skills
University degree (M.Sc.) in IT, Engineering or Science
