About the role

We are looking for someone who is natural at selling, passionate about leisure activities and enjoys negotiating to build the best partnerships. Your primary focus will be helping us develop our sales team and design replicable sales methods to bring on new mid-sized organisers. You will leverage your skills in prospecting, negotiation and driving internal processes to set up our partnerships for success.


About the company 

Smeetz is a software platform that uniquely helps leisure organisers increase their revenue and better reach their market with the help of data analytics and dynamic pricing. We have launched the 2.0 version of our platform and look to expand our customer base in the Swiss-German part of Switzerland, before going abroad.

Smeetz was founded in 2016 and is based in Lausanne. The company is currently composed of 7 team members in Switzerland and 11 other ones abroad.


What we are looking for

  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its growth.
  • Drive our sales team and help us identify and build best practices.
  • Support and lead our junior sales team in their daily tasks to help them exceed their targets.
  • Build pipeline through the identification of opportunities and generation of leads.
  • Partner with our marketing teams to smoothly activate organisers.
  • Network and build strong relationships with long-term partners.

  • Salary: 40k-60k + equity to discuss.

What you offer

  • Previous management role in a startup is a requirement.
  • Demonstrated leadership and proven record of success in sales. You can establish trust with people quickly.
  • Work experience in a sales environment preferably in a technology company or in a role with significant exposure to software/technology solutions.
  • Strong ability to influence others and strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic that delivers high quality results and ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced sales organisation.
  • You have time management skills to get the most out of every single day. Strong ability to prioritise, handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • You are an optimist, resilient and perseverant. Team-player and proactive mindset.
  • A good network in the sport, cultural or musical ecosystem is a strong asset.
  • A higher education degree is required.
  • French is mandatory. Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Swiss-German is a strong asset.
  • B or C work permit or Swiss citizenship.
