Senior Compliance Officer 100%

Key Responsibilities

  • Senior role providing regulatory compliance advice with exposure to all aspects of Compliance (e.g. AML, Cross-Border, Tax, Investigations etc.)
  • Manage global compliance processes, tasks and responsibilities
  • Support the management by communicating clearly and concisely on complex regulatory policies and procedures
  • Responsible to further develop global compliance tools and monitoring measures, to participate in the setup and implementation of interdisciplinary projects
  • Active monitoring and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory
    requirements as well as developing internal policies and procedures
  • Supervise and support internal and external audit activities as well as requests from regulators and other authorities
  • Identify regulatory or reputational risks and raise them as appropriate
  • Share knowledge by conducting trainings in relevant compliance topics and prepare training material for employees

Relevant Experience & Skills

  • University degree in an area related to Law, Finance, Compliance, or an equivalent education
  • Several years of professional experience as a Senior Compliance Officer in the trust business or finance sector are requirement
  • Solid knowledge of Trusts, Foundations and similar structures
  • Ability to work independently, effectively, efficiently and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills enable to contribute to the team’s success
  • Hands-on, reliable and discreet personality with the flexibility of taking on tasks beyond the job description
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German, any additional language would be an advantage
  • Effective use of IT systems/appropriate software package (MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook)
