Senior Product Development Project Manager (m/f/d)

For the extension of our R&D Product Development team, we are seeking to hire (immediately or by arrangement), in Berne or in Verona/IT a dynamic and motivated 

You will be responsible for implementing activities related to new and existing products.

The main responsibilities associated with this important role are:

• Project management for developments of R&D projects (up to SIL 4 according to CENELEC standards)
• Responsible for timely and cost effective implementation of product developments
• Development of documentation contents for safety products and their preparation with our technical editor
• Coordination of certification of products at notified bodies (NoBo)
• Close cooperation and supporting to R&D Development, Product-Management and RAMS departments

You are our ideal candidate if you have:

• university degree in a technical or economics field
• minimum 5 years of experience in managing projects
• you are able to prioritize and organize activities and generate and maintain a project schedule
• worked in railway projects, an advantage if the projects involved safety-related development
• you have the ability to identify project risks and opportunities
• you like to work autonomously as well as in a team
• very good communication skills
• knowledge of English both spoken and written is mandatory, advantage is having German and/or Italian depending on the location.

Preferred qualifications are:

• good knowledge of railway standard EN50126, EN50128, EN50129
• a project management certification such as PMI-PMP or cybersecurity project management such as CSMP
• executed a product development according to a roadmap
• knowledge of security standards IEC62443-4 and ISO27001
• knowledge of French both spoken and written
