For our client, the technology giant Google, we are currently looking for a Technical Program Manager for their Zurich office to start ASAP for a 12 month contract (contracts usually get extended for another year or permanent roles are offered).

As a Technical Program Manager in Google's Security Engineering team, you will be central to managing projects focused on solving security-related challenges of all kinds. Working with some of the best Security Engineers in the world, you'll have a direct positive impact on the security of Google's data,infrastructure, and products. Success in this role will require sound judgment, a demonstrated technical background, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will scope complex projects and help drive them to completion.
You will coordinate initiatives with multiple stakeholders, set expectations for deliverables with many different teams, keep track of success of parallel efforts, identify key roadblocks, and work with the team members involved to keep things moving. This is a fairly hands-on role that requires engineering and security knowledge as well as the ability to take a deep dive into different domains in a self-sufficient manner.
Scope ambiguous projects, help set priorities, and enable data-driven decisions.
Understand the end-to-end solution and implementation path, and execute large security projects.
Coordinate different security and product teams, set clear expectations about responsibilities, communicate with stakeholders, and measure success.
Partner with cross-functional engineering teams in order to provide technical direction and influence technical design.
Help push fundamental shifts towards more robust security models for the organization.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Extensive knowledge in software engineering (and related processes).
Experience in program/project management (min 3 years).
Experience working with teams and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience in an Engineering or Technical role, ideally delivering privacy and/or security solutions.
Experience in web application security or other areas of product security (e.g. Android/iOS application security, applied cryptography, memory corruption vulnerabilities and mitigations), and/or experience with incident response.
Experience in leading security risk mitigation, technical risk assessment, and integration projects, building key security engineering principles into non-standard infrastructure.
