Quality assurance and quality control manager (100%)

Based between the head office at Montreux and the warehouse at St Légier.

PURPOSE:

1- Quality assurance: your mission is to define and develop the rules intended to guarantee the quality of our products and our services to meet the expectations of our customers.

2- Quality control: your mission is to define, implement and document quality control techniques in order to verify the products and services quality, in compliance with regulations and health and safety rules.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1- Quality assurance

- QA referent

- Ensure an operational quality presence with the teams in charge of product development

- Define and ensure quality assurance on each project

- Support products compliance throughout their life cycle:

o Ensure proper execution of processes

o Keep these processes up to date according to the regulatory andnormative environment and international guides

o Establish a dynamic of continuous improvement

o Handle products out of spec and deviations

o Investigate and document deviations and non-conformities

o CAPA implementation, risk analysis

o Manage the processing of returns and external non-compliances

- Edite quality specifications and ensure our suppliers meet regulatory and quality requirements

- Set up an internal audit system

2- Quality control :

- Ensure the final products meet all quality and safety standards

- Define and edit quality control procedures and techniques

- Monitor specifications for raw materials/components and finished products control

- Set up and handle release process for raw materials/components and finished products

- Plan quality control activities

- Define sampling and archival storage rules for control documents and batch files

- Define and frame the sampling

- Check and monitor the procedures application following health and safety rules

KEY COMPETENCIES:

- Define methods and adapt procedures for control analyses

- Assess control analysis results

- Evaluate products conformity according to the standards

- Define preventive and corrective actions

- Identify and assess failure and suggest solutions

- Ability to work as part of a team (international and multidisciplinary)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in cosmetics/drug

- Scientific education in quality or engineering/regulatory knowledge a plus

- Fluent English (spoken and written)

- Knowledge in software tools

- Driving licence and vehicle

- Clean criminal records

- Conscientiousness, accuracy, methodical spirit

- Analysis and correlation skills. Independent with excellent communication skills

- Flexible and open mind to support an evolving structure
