Quality Assurance Engineer 

Overview

Hapa AG, a leading provider of cutting-edge printing machines for packaging solutions, specializing in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a crucial member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our production processes, with a specific focus on machinery and printing machines at HAPA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and HSE Managers to ensure the quality and reliability of production processes, emphasizing machinery and printing machines.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identifying process improvement opportunities to ensure high production quality.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement,Technical Support, and Suppliers to develop and implement robust manufacturing processes and quality controls.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements within the production environment.
• Manage and coordinate CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes, as well as Production Deviation management, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with suppliers to address quality-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing processes and lead quality actions to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct internal audits in the production area to verify compliance with quality standards and procedures.
• Lead Quality Improvement projects and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field required.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard and quality management principles.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Production Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in managing CAPAs, production deviations, and supplier deviations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in auditing methodologies and project management techniques.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German (B2 level minimum) is required.
• Familiarity with the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) and experience with printing inks would be advantageous.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in a GMP environment highly appreciated.
