In order to strengthen the Strategic Marketing Fragrances Team based in Neuchâtel we are recruiting a

Perfume Strategic Marketing Manager

Accountabilities

Reporting to the Strategic Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the High-End portfolio including Very High End, Le Gemme & Allegra franchisee, leading the marketing strategies, product management and marketing toolkit creation and deployments, managing a team of two senior marketing associate managers.

In this role, you will make strategic recommendations to develop the Parfum High End 3 Year Plan: including a strong growth ambition focusing on fragrances best performers & tapping into new business opportunities.

As Marketing Manager, you will oversee all activities related to ensure worldwide excellence in execution amongst the High-End Portfolio, fostering the ‘One Brand’ elevation.

You will be in charge of building the right capabilities of your marketing team leading them with vision to accomplish the defined objectives.

In more details you will coordinate in a seamless way, a multi-functional internal team of stakeholders; creative, development, trade marketing, store design, planning, production, legal, and pricing teams, ensuring they support your category priorities.

You will also coordinate with your team the 360° launch package, more specifically in charge of briefing the different departments involved (Image, Digital, POSM, PR, TRAINING) and follow-up on the development of all required assets. This will include coordinating content creation with external partners such as agencies, photographers, architects, and graphics designers.

In term of analysis, you will strongly study your lines performance, costs, and margins, as well as productivity tiered by door, to propose relevant strong action plans. You will follow in detail your launch performances by market and by segments including beauty retailers as well as directly operated stores. You will be also in charge of management and follow-up of your marketing budget.

Profile

You have a master’s degree in economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or an equivalent education and at least 5-7 years marketing experience preferably in Luxury/Beauty field.

You have a sensibility for luxury, prestigious product aesthetics, an eye for details and perfection in execution. You can think out of the box, bring creative and innovative ideas, converging and them in a pragmatic way. You have a strong business background and acumen in sell-out and sell-in analysis. You are a true leader, inspiring passion comes across your message, with strong interpersonal skills you are federating & bringing people towards your objective. You are also recognized for your talents of project planning. You foresee all eventualities and are well organized.

Autonomous and rigorous, you are capable of leading various operational files in parallel while keeping a global strategic vision on the projects. Thanks to your excellent capacities of communication and thanks to your agility, you are capable to work in a multicultural environment.

A strong experience on the perfumery segment will help you in this position. Fluent in English and Italian, French would be an advantage. Good knowledge and usage of MS-office, particularly in power point and excel are required.
