Senior Financial Controller

Your challenge
In this position you will support tactical initiatives, taking part in key Financial activities. You will also be responsible for setting up, developing and managing team of financial professionals, having functional Team Lead role and reporting directly to Group CFO. Moreover, you will manage:
  • Implementation of financial operations best practices
  • Maintenance of core relationships with banks and investors (reporting to banks and backup system reports)
  • Performing financial closings and reporting on monthly, quarterly, yearly basis.
  • Ensuring that all accounting allocations are appropriately made and documented
  • Preparing of monthly sales- and annual projections, reporting to the directors
  • Overseeing on sub-ledgers, payroll, bank reconciliation, cash disbursements/management and approval of invoices
  • Cooperation and coordination with auditors

Your background
You offer a Higher Education Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, Certification as CPA/CIMA or similar local degree and bring several years of solid working experience in a similar role. Your profile is completed by:
  • Working experience in a family office or similar business within Financial Services industry
  • Expertise in Liechtenstein/Switzerland regulations of finance and accounting, particularly - Taxation and VAT matters
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law, risk management and cost-control practices
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Great IT acumen and knowledge of financial management software
  • Outstanding skills in German and English. Knowledge of other languages, such as Portuguese or Hebrew would be an advantage
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in communication with high level stakeholders
  • Ability to think “out-of-the-box”, hands on approach and multitasking skills
