To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our team in the Supply Chain, we are looking for a dedicated Category Manager Large Scale (Chemicals, Direct) (f/m/d), 80-100%

Your tasks:

• Lead the vendor evaluation and its related negotiations to build a new manufacturer base
• Management of the vendor base including negotiations, contract management, stakeholder management, qualification management
• Responsible for the management of the assigned category including long-term strategy, risk management and execution
• Execution of operational activities related to Purchase to Pay (PtP) processes for the assigned category
• Lead the change control process for your assigned category and manage the initiation of the vendor qualification process, including participation of Supplier Audits, to support the qualification process as SME
• Lead- and support cross-functional procurement initiatives

Your profile:

• University Degree (or equivalent) with at least 4+ years work experience in a highly regulated (GMP) industry.
• Proficiency level in English oral and written. German language is a plus
• Extensive knowledge of the processes in Category Management and 3+ years hands-on experience in its execution ideally for chemical raw materials
• Experienced in leading cross-functional projects
• Very good communication skills and stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders; assertive, convincing and conflict management skills required
• Solution oriented, well structured and analytical thinking, SAP experience is an advantage
