Communications & Brand Manager - EMEA

The Communications & Branding function plays a crucial role enhancing Parker’s awareness with European and global customers and key stakeholders. With customers in a wide spectrum of industries buying a broad variety of products, combined with more than 14,000 employees in more than 20 countries in EMEA, this is certainly representing a very interesting opportunity for someone motivated by challenges and developing experiences.
Whilst reporting to the Director, Global Communications & Branding, you will be responsible for leading the regional team that supports business growth by teaming with Sales Company and group leadership, operating and marketing managers, and European communications, creative and e-business professionals. You will also be responsible, as the senior communications manager in Europe and the regional spokesperson, to handle & coordinate all internal and external communications in the region. More precisely, but not limited to, you will:
- Lead and foster a cooperative, cross-Business/Function network of professionals that work together on common communications and branding needs.
- Advise Sales Companies and divisions on public and media relations, social media and brand awareness strategies ensuring consistency and alignment with brand standards.
- Act as the lead Parker media representative on significant events or during crisis communications, working within the Corporate Communications team and coordinate Parker’s messages and engagement with key regional stakeholders.
- Develop an internal communications strategy for the region that drives employee engagement and productivity levels.
- Serve as the lead advisor to the senior leadership team in EMEA on communications related matters.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- University Degree in a relevant discipline combined with a professional experience acquired in a similar role managing B2B communications in a large, complex and global organisation. An MBA would be a definite plus.
- Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organisation and to establish proper level of credibility.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interview skills in English. Knowledge of other languages spoken in the region would be considered as an asset.
- Successful track record of project management experience in a fast-moving environment.
- Direct experience in orchestrating the use of digital tools and strategies to build awareness and drive cohesive and consistent messaging.
- Availability for frequent travelling.
