Head IT 80 - 100 % (f/m/d)
For our client, one of the leading pioneers in the life sciences industry, we are looking for a Head IT for a permanent position based in Zug.
Your responsibilities:
The new position will mainly be responsible for
- strategic guidance
- design and maintain IT processes
- coordination of the various internal and external IT teams
- managing projects
In detail:
- Regular meetings with the CEO to discuss strategic directions (in person or virtual)
- Regular meetings with the company and outsourcer IT teams to coordinate daily operations and task management (mainly virtual, but also in person as required)
- Maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO 27001 (certification pending)
- Run the processes as defined in the ISMS
- Propose process improvements of internal and outsourced services
- Train users (presentations, videos)
- Maintain IT Knowledge Base and process documentation in SharePoint
- Design and maintain task management in Jira
Your qualification:
This position is a senior position in a complex environment but as the organization is small, it offers an opportunity to a younger and ambitious candidate who intends to step into managerial responsibilities in the IT area. The current holder of the position will be available on request as mentor and coach for at least one year.
The major skills required:
- Solid background and experience in IT technology and IT operation: can assess services provided by outsourcer and propose improvements; defines and implements internal IT processes
- German and English language skills: write emails and documents, lead meetings and discussions in both languages
- Can lead a small internal IT team
- Basic knowledge of ISO 27001
- Ability to create user training material such as presentations and video
