We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to drive the software strategy for developing printing and packaging artwork workflow automation solutions.

The Senior Product Owner will be instrumental in defining the strategy and roadmap for graphics chain workflow automation software solutions.

This role requires a visionary leader who can bridge the gap between traditional machinery building culture and software innovation, driving the development of workflow automation solutions tailored for the printing and packaging industries.

This individual will play a pivotal role in assisting our machinery-focused businesses in transitioning towards providing comprehensive software solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Software Strategy: Lead the development of a cohesive software strategy that aligns with our business goals and positions us as a leader in providing printing and packaging artwork workflow automation solutions.
• Product Vision: Define a compelling product vision and roadmap for our software offerings, incorporating market trends, customer feedback, and business priorities.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including engineering, sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for the software transformation initiative.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their pain points, requirements, and preferences, translating insights into actionable product features and enhancements.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the printing and packaging software landscape.
• Product Development: Serve as the voice of the customer and drive the development process from concept to delivery, working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
• Agile Leadership: Champion Agile principles and practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative development, to drive efficiency and collaboration within the product team.
• Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of our software solutions, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Team Enablement: Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration as we navigate the transition to a software-centric business model.
• Industry Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the printing and packaging industry, sharing insights and best practices internally and externally to reinforce our position as an industry leader.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership roles, preferably in the software industry with exposure to machinery-focused businesses.
• Deep understanding of the printing and packaging industry, including graphic chain workflows, in automated packaging environments.
• Proven track record of successfully leading software transformation initiatives, from strategy development to execution and delivery.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a results-oriented mindset.
• Agile mindset with experience implementing Agile methodologies in software development teams.
• Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals in a dynamic and evolving environment.
