The Global Industry Team in Zurich is looking for experienced and keen senior systems engineer in the aerospace area within the German speaking part. Our team provides support in production and testing of subsystems and components for space applications.
As a consultant, you advise and assist our customers with their technology challenges.
Throughout your career, you can work on different project phases from technical and strategic studies, design and development of new products, their introduction into the production over launch of comprehensive services and solutions.
Helping clients to realize ideas from ideation, prototyping, industrialization of products, manufacturing, scale-up, distribution as well as service provisioning/support.
Coordinate technical project tasks as engineering responsible in complex projects, with the objective to meet the technical requirements within the given budget and agreed schedule
Break down the technical requirements to sub-systems, generate technical specifications for subsystems and subcontractor
Conduct technical negotiations with customers, project partners and subcontractors
Define and implement the development and verification logic, establish the corresponding documents, i.e. design development & verification plans, test plans, design justification documents, interface control documents, verification control documents etc.
Coordinate, generate and review technical project documents and drawings
Generate inputs for proposals, coordinate presentations and technical proposal volumes
MSc. Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or in a similar discipline
5 to 8 of professional experience in System Engineering or Technical Project Management within aerospace/aviation industry
Working level fluency in English (written and spoken), German and French are of advantage
Good communication, cooperation and organization skills, willingness to take responsibility
Good analytical and system oriented thinking as well as fast comprehension
Awareness for costs and schedules
Experience with Composites design is advantageous
Experience with IBM DOORs for requirements management is advantageous
