In this dynamic role, you'll represent Digital Business Technology (DBT) within our firm's multidisciplinary Technology for Tax & Legal Services team in Zurich. You'll oversee the delivery of solutions leveraging data, process automation, and AI technologies, while championing agile, DevOps, and reliable systems engineering practices with your team.
Engineering Manager - Tax & Legal Services
Your contribution to KPMG
- Join the DBT engineering team to deliver efficient and innovative solutions for the Tax and Legal business
- Manage the delivery value chain and deployment pipeline with Value Owners and System Designers
- Lead engineering efforts following lean, agile, and DevOps principles
- Drive business impact using cloud-native data and process automation
- Demonstrate proficiency in modern DevOps practices and agile methodologies
- Possess technical expertise in data, process automation, with knowledge of Azure DevOps
- Ensure software quality and stay informed about emerging technologies
- Support the ongoing operational activities and tools that are the part of the tax and legal business ecosystems
This is what makes you successful
- Proficient in modern DevOps practices, including flow management, value stream mapping, and Agile methodologies with Azure DevOps for project management and delivery
- Experience with the ServiceNow ticketing system is a nice to have
- Competent in data, process automation, and AI technologies
- Effective English skills in translating complex technology solutions, German is an asset
- Experience with flow-based Agile and continuous delivery practices
- Knowledgeable in agile principles, organizational design, and Continuous Delivery methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new practices for continuous improvement
- Proficiency in software programming languages - (C#, Python, PowerShell, or similar)
- Appreciation for the Power platform, as well as experience with cloud platforms (ideally Azure)
- Understanding of the tax and legal business domain
