The Group Audit (GA) function comprises over 600 staff located in our four hub locations New York, London, Frankfurt, Singapore and 26 other countries across the globe.
The function is a professional, business focused, proactive risk-based global audit team that operates with transparency, integrity and independence, and assists the Bank’s business and infrastructure areas to identify key control weaknesses. The function provides a systematic, disciplined approach to examine, evaluate and report objectively on the adequacy of both the design and operating effectiveness of the systems of internal control and the effectiveness of risk management and governance processes.

Overview of the team
This role will be part of the Group Audit team covering the Private Bank business in Central Europe (Switzerland, UK, Luxembourg) with a strong focus on Sanctions and Embargoes topics. The role will report to the Group Audit Country Head and Principal Audit Manager (PAM) for Private Bank Central Europe (CE).
Your key responsibilities:
You work either independently or as part of a team on audit assignments, primarily covering S&E topics, evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. Based on the results, you draft and reconcile audit reports
In addition, you take on the coordination of country- and subject-specific audits and work collaboratively with experts and other teams in Group Audit to ensure a “front-to-back” audit coverage
The audit fieldwork is executed by you in line with the agreed audit approach, e.g. documenting Process Flows, identifying key risks and testing of key controls to determine whether these controls are properly designed and are operating effectively
As part of the audit team in Switzerland, you may support in country-specific reporting and in ensuring that both global requirements as well as local specifications are adhered to
In accordance with divisional standards, you document your work results within agreed budgets and timelines and act as challenger to clients in the development of remediation plans and during the issue closure process
You proactively keep abreast of pertinent industry, regulatory and business practices, while developing and maintaining a professional network with colleagues, stakeholders, and relevant support areas
Your skills and experiences:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in business administration, economics and/or science from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
Experience in the financial industry and/or awareness of the risks and regulatory requirements including knowledge of auditing standards and concepts
Experience of working in Anti-Financial Crime department or audit function especially in relation to the management of Sanctions and Embargoes risks within the financial services industry
Extensive experience working in audit assignments within a fast-paced business environment
Fluent English both verbally and in writing, proficiency in a second language such as German or French would be an advantage
Advanced knowledge of Office applications
Certifications as CIA, CISA or equivalent qualification in the areas of auditing, project management or process-/quality management would be an advantage
