Application Support Specialist
Provide second-level support for all school core application issues. Ensure data integrity between core systems. Improve integration between different applications. Work closely with IT staff to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance application performance. Assist in the implementation of new applications and systems. Train and support users on the effective use of school applications. Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures. Provide data customization when necessary (e.g., create templates, queries, reports). Collaborate with vendors and service providers to meet the school's application needs. Participate in IT projects aimed at improving the school's processes.
Degree or certification in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Experience in application support, preferably in an educational environment. Strong understanding of application architecture and API's. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to learn and contribute to the school's success. Knowledge of Power BI would be an asset. A valid Swiss work permit or a European Passport is required.
