Commodities Middle Office Project Manager / Business Analyst
We are seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about coding and possesses a keen interest in business operations. This role will primarily focus on coding, developing dashboards and managing projects for our Middle Office department, with potential opportunities for advancement within the business in the future.
Please note that we are not looking for a pure IT profile. The ideal candidate is IT savvy but doesn't aim to be purely technical.
Our client is an international commodity trading, based in Geneva.
Description
- Collaborate with the Middle Office team to understand their requirements and develop coding solutions to meet their needs.
- Design and implement dashboards to visualize key business metrics and performance indicators.
- Utilize Python as the primary coding language, with flexibility to adapt to other languages and technologies as needed.
- Demonstrate an understanding of business processes and objectives to effectively translate them into technical solutions.
- Assist in transitioning knowledge and responsibilities as needed for smooth handover processes.
- Exhibit diplomacy and professionalism when interacting with colleagues of all personalities and backgrounds.
Profile
- 1-3 years of experience in Middle Office or a related cross-functional environment.
- Strong coding skills with proficiency in Python.
- Experience with developing dashboards and data visualization tools.
- Interest and understanding of business operations.
- Excellent soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
