Enterprise Architect Delivery (d/f/m), 80-100%
The Enterprise Architect Delivery specializes in the execution and realization of the architectural strategies, focusing on delivery and the practical application of architectural principles across IT programs/projects. The focus is on delivery of the IT transformation driven by business strategy, requirements and needs. This newly created role is to be based in Olten, Switzerland.
Your main responsibilities and objectives
- Collaboratively develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, including frameworks, standards, and roadmaps that align with business objectives
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into actionable architectural plans
- Support key business stakeholders to create business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and creating and implementing business visions and goals
- Lead the implementation of architectural designs in IT projects, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture strategy
- Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on architectural matters, ensuring best practices are followed
- Evaluate proposed solutions for technical viability and alignment with architectural standards and business objectives
- Collaborate with other Enterprise Architects to refine and enforce delivery-related architectural guidelines and best practices
- Work closely with IT project managers and business leaders to ensure successful architecture delivery and project execution
- Jointly with other Enterprise Architects, define guidelines, best practices, and standards for enterprise architecture
- Provide governance over architectural decisions and projects, ensuring consistency with the enterprise architecture framework
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends to advise on potential impacts, benefits, and risks associated with their adoption
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong focus on project delivery and implementation
- Deep understanding of architectural principles and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
- Relevant Enterprise Architecture certifications (e.g. TOGAF 9, ArchiMate 3)
- Relevant experience in project management, including certifications
- Proven ability to guide and support project teams in an architectural capacity
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of trading and/or energy sectors is strongly preferred
- Fluent in English; competency in German and French is advantageous
