We are on an expansion drive and have many exciting plans for the future, therefore we are looking for a:

Senior Controller (m/f/d)

Finance sits at the heart of Dyson as the trusted advisor to management, ensuring that the most impactful decisions are taken to deliver the maximum outcomes while maintaining high standards of compliance and stewardship.
The Sales Controller (Senior) supports Sales, Business Development and Exec teams with analysis and performance insight across financial and non-financial data, and develops best in class reporting and planning tools.


Business partner to retail and direct sales

  • Pro-active support in joint business planning, including creation and ongoing tracking of terms and customer P&Ls.
  • Develop deep commercial understanding across B2C, with an awareness of customers’ and channels’ strategic roles. 
  • Identify drivers of Gross Margin delivery, providing value-adding insight to optimise plans.
  • Maintain continuous dialogue and collaboration with national account managers, guiding them through internal processes and upskilling their financial expertise.
  • Aligning key stakeholders to risks and opportunities where appropriate.

Lead monthly business planning cycle within retail and direct sales

  • Provide toolkits, planning assumptions and timelines, and lead customer business reviews to ensure accurate bottom-up plans delivered for monthly LE meetings.
  • Provide pre-reads and active participation in LE meetings to influence decision making.
  • Continuous Anaplan support, escalating issues and feedback to governance board when required.
  • Maintenance of master data where required.

Manage terms governance, trade promotions and pricing processes

  • Apply “pay-for-performance” principles to terms, holding customers to account and escalating where appropriate.
  • Minimise value of outstanding customer deductions.
  • Support in development of new customer terms, providing data driven insight to optimise investments. 
  • Ensure compliance to global delegated authorities matrix.
  • Develop improvements to terms processes, driving transparency and simplicity.

Fulfil other duties

  • Identify and drive process improvements along the order-to-cash cycle.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and information as necessary.
  • Prioritise and lead the delivery of the Group Finance roadmap in Switzerland, working with key stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver analytics and reporting solutions that deliver insight and value to the business.
  • Work with market finance teams to support standardisation and delivery of BI tools, providing technical expertise to partner market teams where required.



  • Strong commercial awareness, particularly around principles of performance reporting
  • Strong communication skills, ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms and influence thinking to steer outcomes towards strategic solutions
  • Ability to interact confidently with very senior stakeholders
  • Appreciation of the role of systems within business operations and the impacts of major change
  • Determined to identify solutions and prepared to overcome obstacles to follow through to completion
  • Working with IT teams to turn business requirements into system specifications
  • Reviewing business processes/ data sets and identifying areas for improvement
  • Competent at training/presenting (virtually and in-person) whilst thinking on the spot to provide answers
