Strategic Program Management Lead CGT


o Manage the Capex project portfolio for Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) unit and ensure the good project management practices are applied to have transparent and up-to-date status across all strategic CGT unit investments including the Bayer CGT Platform companies (e.g. AskBio, BlueRock) 
o Accountable to ensure that an adequate program execution strategy, program organization, validation strategy, digital strategy and operational readiness program are developed for all strategic programs 
o Ensure implementation of Lean approaches in programs and operations
o Explore innovative solutions 
o Support the regulatory document compilation for drug registration purposes and ensure proper registration of the facilities 
o Support and participate in due diligences for CGT 


o University degree (e.g. BEng/MEng/PhD) in Engineering, Biotechnology or related field 
o 10+ years of experience in an engineering or operational function in the pharmaceutical industry with expertise in Project Management, Quality and HSE is essential
o Experience in working relationships with authorities as well as internal and external customers
o Strong leadership & management skills with excellent communications & social competency skills
o Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast changing environment and to develop structure and clarity with and for the teams
o Strategic acumen to understand and drive towards overall and sustainable value
o Driven by creating value for the customer (patient)
o Open mindset able to bring innovative solutions
o Team player spirit and "bridgebuilder" between the different stakeholders
o Fluent and able to negotiate at C-level in English. German and/or Spanish language is a plus
