Who are we ?

Based in Geneva, Switzerland, with warehouses totaling 5,600m2 in Bordeaux, London and Geneva, Arthur’s Cellar International is an importer and distributor of nearly 4,500 different wines, champagnes and spirits. We sell to wholesalers; the hospitality industry; and to private and corporate clients.

Arthur’s Cellar offers a wide range of wines and spirits from around the world hand selected by our expert buyers; from new, modern wineries; classic, well-known appellations; rare gems from our private collection; as well as exclusive wines received on allocation from sought after producers.

Main mission

In collaboration with the sales and purchasing teams, the salesperson prospects and develops the loyalty of a clientele of professionals and/or individuals by covering all stages of the commercial process, from prospecting to administrative management and negotiation of sales conditions.

Hierarchical Attachment

Reporting the Sales Direction and in collaboration with the Purchasing department.

Missions & Activities of the position

  • Represents the company in the sales wines, champagnes and spirits to business and/or individual customers in assigned territory;
  • Develop, implement and achieve annual sales objectives;
  • Qualify the distribution of our product portfolio;
  • Developing, implementing, and executing sales programs and pricing strategies for the assigned territory;
  • Manage account growth and business development and achieve objectives;
  • Write daily reports and participate in weekly sales meeting and annual training programs;
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and provide consistent quality of service;
  • Set up sales operations (participation in rallies, trade shows and events) & business intelligence;
  • Updating databases;

Technical Skills & Personal qualities

  • Good network in the wine & spirits clientele and the hotels and restaurants sector
  • Knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques in wine, champagne or spirits
  • German, French and English
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactiveness in proposing any action likely to improve the sales perimeter in particular and/or the company in general
  • Autonomy, team spirit, diplomacy, good organization, commitment and desire to be part of a long-term quality project
  • Computer and management tools (pack office, CRM, ERP)
