Global Segment Manager - Medical (PVD Technology)

For our Medical Segment we are looking for a highly motivated individual and driven leader who likes to give his or her career an international
boost. This role is a unique chance to shape the future of our organization by leading the development and growth of a critical segment through
technology innovation and strategic market expansion. As a Global Segment Manager, you enjoy the strategic side to investigate how
technology and markets are developing, but also to be the go-to person for any practical solutions needed anywhere in the worldwide Ionbond
network. If a new development is to be rolled out, we rely on your expertise to do this worldwide and to ensure the related patent processes
are followed.

Ionbond provides advanced coating solutions for applications in the aerospace, medical, food contact, automotive, decorative, tooling and fuel
cells industries. We offer a broad range of hard, low-friction, wear-resistant coatings based on PVD, PACVD and CVD technologies.
With 34 job coating centers in 15 countries in Europe, North America, and Asia, Ionbond has one of the largest coating networks in the world.

What do we ask?

You are a shoulder-to-shoulder leader with a clear and creative vision where you combine technical and market know-how with practical
solutions. You have a proven track record of a customer focus approach in your daily w ork. Your good communication skills enable you to give
clear messages with the right audience in mind whilst using all available communication tools. You have earned a Master’s degree in a relevant
engineering discipline. A Ph.D. in materials science or vacuum-deposited coatings is preferred and an MBA is a plus. You can express yourself
fluently in English (in writing and speaking) and you are willing to conduct business travel globally.
