Your job
- Generate significant margins from speculative activities in continental power markets. Maximize VaR returns while complying with assigned limits (VaR, trailing stop loss, credit, cash flow)
- Support Repower's trading team with fundamental views and market insights
- Oversee and develop further junior team members and analysts
- Collaborate with Risk Management and Back Office to optimize credit risk management, cash collateral and foreign exchange
- Support market access services for internal and external clients, coordination with vendors and participate in the development of new trading services
Your profile
- +5 years' experience in proprietary trading (no asset backed) in Continental power markets with a proven track record of successful proprietary trading results
- University degree (economics- finance, natural science or technical field)
- Very strong fundamental knowledge of European power markets. Experience in Swiss market a strong plus
- Entrepreneurial, profit oriented, very good judgement
- Very analytical, structured, transparent, robust, details oriented
- High integrity, trustworthy personality, team player
- Place of work: Poschiavo (possibility to work from Zürich office, with regular trips to Poschiavo, after 12 months)
- Languages: English. German and Italian a strong plus
