Postdoctoral Researcher (w/m/d) in Nursing and Digital Health 50-70%

We invite applications for a 2.5-year Postdoctoral Research position in the eFICUS project, which aims to develop and test a digital health intervention for families affected by critical illness. The project will leverage advances in digital technology and user-centred design to ensure timely, equitable, and individualized access for families to psychoeducational and emotional support.

- Plan, undertake and/or participate in co-design activities, including collecting and analyzing data (observation and interviews).
- Develop the digital health intervention in close collaboration with different research partners, clinical teams, and patient research partners involved in the project.
- Implement and program the digital health intervention on the technology platform in close collaboration with the technology partner.
- Perform small usability testing and real-world evaluation of the digital health intervention.
- Prepare peer-reviewed publications and present finding within the scientific, clinical and public context.
- Work closely and actively with other team members and partners.
- Participate in other research and teaching activities of the group.
- Supervise and support Master students.
- Prepare applications for competitive research funding.
- Further develop your own research profile.
- PhD in Nursing Science, Public Health, Health Sciences or related field.
- Research profile in digital or public health, nursing or critical care (research experience in user-centered designs and implementation science is an asset).
- Strong interest in family-focused health care and digital health, and in keeping up with emerging trends and methodologies in clinical and implementation science nursing research.
- Excellent ability to work independently, in diverse research teams, and closely with patients, families, clinicians, and researchers across different institutions or disciplines.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication and effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and German.
- Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative.
- Emerging track record of high-quality research publications and conference papers.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and support undergraduate students and to engage in teaching activities.
