Area sales manager opportunity with a renowned manufacturer of electromechanical components (B2B). Reporting to the Sales Director, the role will be based in the French part of Switzerland. We are looking for a passionate salesperson with an entrepreneurial spirit, who will lead the sales network by example. With your background in engineering, you will be able to apply your technical knowledge to identify new products and markets to develop.
This is an exciting role in managing and developing worldwide markets with a renowned market leader, the role involves:
·Responsibility for total sales within the assigned territories
·Organise and develop the sales division, including subsidiaries, sales offices and sales agents worldwide
·Define the strategy and objectives and engage an international sales force
·Play your role in growing the client base, whilst managing existing customers
·Identify client needs in order to improve or develop new products in conjunction with the R&D department
·Identify new markets and analyse their development potential
·Develop strategic business plans to ensure consistent sales and market share growth.
·Negotiate tender, contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and company needs.
·Develop brand & company awareness, participating in local events, trade shows and any relevant seminars.
Bachelor’s or Master degree in electronics, electrical, automation or physics engineering is mandatory. Solid experience managing an international sales network. Suitable candidates will be highly organised, self-motivated achievers. Fluent English, French or German and other languages is an asset. Flexibility to travel (40%).
