You are a top-quality Firmware Developer who can work in close collaboration with hardware developers and the rest of the team under the supervision of our technical manager. We require people who have strong troubleshooting capabilities, self-management and excellent communication skills. You will use your skills to build secure, robust Industrial IoT embedded software for our modules and devices. You might be a recent MSc graduate or maybe you have a few years of commercial experience, but one thing is clear: you are inspired to work on something that has the potential to make a massive impact on large enterprise organisations across the globe.
As an Industrial IoT Firmware and Embedded Software Developer, you will have experience in C++ development in an embedded environment (ARM CORTEX M) and a track record in working with various communication and control protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, USB. You will be able to work with various network protocols including UDP, TCP, IP, DNS. We require the successful candidate to read and understand circuits and hardware and bring strong documentation skills to the projects. We are searching for someone who is very quality orientated working to industry standards with close attention to testing, certifications and professional preparation for interaction with manufacturers and suppliers. We require someone who is inspired to be creative but also to be organised and disciplined in control and quality issues.
Solid working experience of different micro controllers
Good hands on knowledge of C/C++ language for embedded design especially for CORTEX M devices
More than one year commercial experience in a similar role
Excellent experience of real-time signal processing and hardware
Some experience of low power RF systems would be highly valuable (BLE, IEEE 802.15.4, ZIGBEE)
