Head of Central Analytics

We are looking for a

• Manage the laboratories and related documentation in line with the Quality Management system and reporting requirements
  
• Target the lab focus on Safety, Quality, Service, Efficiency, as well as on digital technologies
  
• Responsible for laboratory planning, coordination and performance monitoring
  
• Maintain a state-of-the-art analytical equipment pool in view of efficient utilization, forecast replacements and upgrades with respect to upcoming needs
  
• Responsible for method implementation and qualification/documentation for the managed laboratories
  
• Provide analytical competence to customers?
  
• Interact and collaborate with other functions for the assigned projects
  
• Promote cooperation with analytical laboratories in Asia and North America
  
• Responsible for the lab-internal Quality Management Systems
  
• Raise and manage any risk/issues, and propose continuous improvement for processes and technologies
  
• Manage, develop, coordinate and engage laboratory staff, including training programs, performance management, and development plans
  

• Graduate degree or Ph.D in Chemistry, Analytics or related discisplines
  
• knowledge of fillers and pigments are an advantage
• Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience in a corresponding lab environment with a minimum of ?5 years previous laboratory management experience
• Practical experience with laboratory information systems, digital tools, automation technologies
• Open minded to new tools & technologies, with change management mindset
• Communication skills to inspire and motivate the team, with the ability to interact with different stakeholders
• Proven collaborative attitude
• Leadership skills with people development orientation; problem solving, focus on delivery
• German, English fluent; other languages are an advantage
