Location: remote or in Basel Switzerland, Milano Italy, Jealott's Hill/Fulbourn UK

As Project Management Support Specialist in Syngenta Crop Protection R&D, you will be given excellent opportunities for being involved in the development of new Crop Protection products. The focus of the position is to work with the Project Management Team Lead to establish the Project Management Office within the Project & Portfolio Management Team of EAME Crop Protection Development. You will support digitization of Project Management in EAME, including supporting transition to new tools and standards.

Your responsibilities:
- You will ensure that set policies and processes in EAME Project Management are followed in a consistent way.
- You will consolidate and implement best practices and processes within EAME Project Management and standardize the process and templates across all indications. Implement a repeatable project delivery process so that the project managers can readily manage and deliver projects.
- You will provide consistent project management support, methods, systems, tools and metrics for consistent project outcomes throughout EAME CPD Project Management.
- You will collaborate with the project managers on the way we use Syngenta' standard tools for EAME CPD projects, to ensure we deliver reliable data, which enables transparency and early visibility into project performance for better decision-making.
- You will support project managers with implementation of new standards, especially migration of project information and data to new tools & templates.
- You are involved in the digitization of Project Management, moving away from offline templates into single-points-of truth (in system) and automated creation of core documents.
- You will support the implementation of SmartChoice E7, including any data improvements / migration.
- You are helping disseminate a common project culture and mindset by informing, communicating and training EPT members about different tools, methodologies and best practices in EAME CPD.
- Your task will also include organizing regular workshops and trainings regarding EAME Project Management ways of working to keep us up to date.

Required profile:

What are we looking for:
- BSc or MSc Degree in a related field with some years of exposure to project management.
- You bring with relevant PMO experience in a cross functional environment, and you are used to work with different stakeholders.
- You have the ability to gather data, analyze and provide meaningful reporting as well as optimize and implement processes and tools.
- Strong attention to details and technicalities, and ability to keep an overview and think broadly combined with strong interpersonal and multitasking capabilities.
- Digital fluency: experience with Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, Qlik and/or SmartChoice E7 (Planisware) would be a nice to have.
- You are fluent in English, both oral and written with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work precisely at very detailed level whilst maintaining focus on the higher-level objectives. You have a positive attitude to change and progress, you are solution oriented, and quality is a key element for you.
