Role and Responsibilities:

  • Align internal resources to achieve complex certification process (Type approval of complete battery system).
  • Build a robust management operating system for the projects asigned, based on quality standards for Automotive and Railway applications (IATF16949, IRIS ISO/TS 22163)
  • Provide project feasibility analysis to sales team as part of the commercial offer to customer.
  • Prepare clear requirements plans which also include risk mitigation, from initiating through execution to ensure the successful attainment of project deliverables.
  • Generate presentations to both internal management and external authorities.
  • Provide direct support to Leclanché engineers, based on standards and regulations or safety for different applications (Automotive,Railway Certification).
  • Manage cross functional project teams
  • Create test plans, carry out electrical qualification tests and generate technical reports.
  • Lead and assist FMEA on complex system.
  • Lead PPAP / FAI activities and documentation, interfacing with customers’ own tools and approval processes
  • Provide both short term customer demand inputs and long term strategic demand planning related to the projects asigned in order to ensure that production capacity is put in place accordingly
  • Drive Change Management processes in order to meet material margin targets from business offer to industrialization.

Competencies and Skills:

  • Degree in electrical, industrial or mechanical Engineering
  • Strong knowledge and experience, minimum 5 years in project management tools (i.e. MS Project), systems and procedures.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience dealing with automotive or railway electronics projects.
    Knowledge in EV, Li-ion batteries and chargers is a plus.
  • Ability to ensure the successful completion of team deliverables, both from internal resources as well as external sources such as clients, vendors, cross functional support groups, etc.
  • Personal sense of ownership of all facets of a project or task.
  • Ability to use previous experience and new knowledge to demonstrate technical and professional competence.
  • Listening to and understanding customer challenges and requirements

  • Languages:
    English a must & French a plus: fluent spoken and writing
