LKC is seeking to recruit a Regulatory Manager with a biology background and experience with risk assessments.
Within our core business unit, we are looking for a scientist to support crop protection and biocidal product projects for our customers with a range of chemistry and formulations for European markets.
This exciting opportunity is a hands-on role located at our offices near Basel in Switzerland.
As a technical and regulatory service provider, you will develop your expertise to provide guidance and project coordination to develop appropriate regulatory strategies to deliver a responsive, efficient, regulatory service to customers.
Coordinate preparation, submission and follow up of active substance reviews/approvals, product registrations/authorisations including the development and management of supporting study programs.
Provide guidance on challenges products face and be pro-active in monitoring for opportunities and threats as a result of new regulations and standards.
Commercial focus for effective client support to align with LKC business and regulatory strategy.
Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, academic and industry groups.
A first degree in a Life Science. A post graduate qualification is desirable.
Some experience within the EU Regulatory Affairs framework for Plant Protection and/or Biocidal Products with knowledge of allied regulations e.g. MRLs, REACh, CLP.
Technical knowledge in areas such as efficacy, ecotoxicology, environmental fate, and associated risk assessment methodologies.
A track record of being an integrated member of technical team.
Skills to manage priorities and project timelines in a complex matrix environment.
Fluency in English for good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage complex volumes of data and summarise for effective communication.
