This is a great opportunity to join a young and fast-growing company in Zurich, and work on one of the important security challenges globally.
We are looking for a skilled Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
The position will be based at Arktis offices in Zurich and includes international traveling (ap-prox. 20%)

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience developing leads from marketing initiatives and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from establishing of contacts until contract clo-sure. You are also responsible for after-sales services for assigned customer accounts.
• Meet with customers in government and industry; act as a ‘face of the company’ and support all aspects of growth including strategy development, account planning, op-portunity identification, value communication
• Monitor government tenders and draft white papers and proposals in their response
• Manage already existing Key Accounts, including Switzerland
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs and lead new busi-ness development, ensure agreed growth plans are achieved within budgeted ex-penditures
• Analyze existing and open new potential markets for our products, use this knowledge to negotiate sales contracts and partnership agreements
• Work hand in hand with the development team to understand and solve customers’ specific needs
• Prepare and attend industrial exhibitions and conferences

• Proven international working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or equally relevant role
• Proven track record in generating significant sales growth
• Experience in government procurement processes; drafting government proposals and influencing available funding streams
• Good understanding of radiation detection market with a primary focus on homeland security and ideally some understanding of parallel applications in the nuclear power and in the general industry and manufacturing, including security for incinerator plants and steel industry
• Experience in working with Swiss industrial associations, armasuisse and federal agencies such as FOCP, FOPH, FIS, and FCA would be beneficial
• Experience in working with European industrial associations
• Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent German and English language skills, both oral and in writing. Understand-ing of Swiss German and French is of high additional value
• High ethical standards
• BSc/BA in business administration, sales or a relevant technical field
