- Coordinate activities within a European working group focused on developing interventions to control emerging antibiotic resistance in Gram-negative bacteria
- Coordinate a multi-centre trial in 24 hospitals in countries with a high-prevalence of multidrug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria in Europe
- Participate actively in conducting clinical research and implementation science
- Coordinate data collection and data analysis with regards to the best methodological and statistical approaches
- Develop expertise in relation to the interpretation and set-up of research in the field of antimicrobial resistance
- Join the dedicated Infection Control team in one of the leading cities in quality of life
- Degree/equivalent in infectious diseases or clinical microbiology
- Experience with project management of national or multinational, clinical studies with various centres
- Experience in team leading
- Relevant experience in analysing, presenting and disseminating data to a variety of audiences
- Competency in the statistical software packages STATA
- Perfect English skills, German an asset
- Independent work attitude
- Keenness to develop specialist skills and knowledge and share that with colleagues, acting as a close support for your line manager and taking responsibility for managing and (where appropriate) signing off projects and outputs
- Experience in social sciences or interest in acquiring skills in qualitative research
- At least 5 articles as a first author published or accepted in peer-reviewed journals
