WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT
You will be responsible for identifying new capabilities and market opportunities for our proprietary data products. Working in collaboration with all parts of the Teralytics team, you will be at the heart of conceptualisation, definition and delivery of our product roadmap.
You will be responsible for product evangelism with a focus on driving revenue through delivering the product roadmap including developing market and competitive intelligence, go-to-market planning, positioning and messaging, product pricing and content generation.
This role is a blend of ‘heavyweight brainpower’ for strategic and analytical thinking, ‘hands-on muscle’ to ensure product delivery and ‘superior communication skills’ to influence our clients, partners and stakeholders.
YOU WILL GET TO:
Support the creation and definition of our product roadmap and product marketing strategy across all offerings.
Own and drive your product revenues and carry appropriate targets to achieve this. Alongside the commercial team you will develop the product commercial/marketing strategies. Specifically:
Lead product go-to-market campaigns, updates and on-going product education to our external prospects and customers as well internal teams.
Deeply understand our customer audience and their needs, market dynamics, competitors and product levers to grow the business.
Develop competitive insights to deliver the right solutions and messaging to market.
Build and validate value propositions, messaging, and guidance for all internal and external stakeholders.
Define product pricing structures, aligned with customer value creation.
Build content to land a differentiated story with compelling value.
Ensure roadmap, value proposition, positioning & messaging is effectively communicated.
Provide feedback into product planning to guide future product roadmaps.
Collaborate with the engineering and data science teams to ensure delivery –engaging throughout the product development lifecycle.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE (EXPERIENCE)
5+ years’ professional experience, including over 3 years in a product management/marketing position creating B2B software and/or data products.
A track record of taking early-stage product concepts and technological innovations, and turning them into commercially viable and scalable products.
Demonstrated an ability to shape a product roadmap through close interaction with market and business teams.
Worked extensively in unison with business development teams.
An ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners - ensuring the product strategy remains focused on solving real business problems and creating significant value for our customers.
A highly numerate mind, possessing a bachelor’s degree (ideally) in Computer Science, or similar.
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE (EXPERIENCE)
Industry expertise in one or more of the following sectors: enterprise software, smart cities, travel, transportation, advertising, marketing, and/or developer API products.
Prior experience working alongside data science teams.
Experience in a technology start-up.
Data visualisation skills with technologies such as Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI, Spotfire etc.
FINALLY, YOU SHOULD
Possess excellent (English) communication and presentation skills and have the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly. German would be advantageous.
