In this interesting position, you will be responsible for effectively planning and managing the implementation of all application-related IT Change Requests (CRs) in the Bank and for the delivery of the Bank's Software Development process, reporting directly to the Head of IT Engineering & Development. You will lead a team of approximately three employees in the near future defining, managing and improving the software development process while in parallel managing the implementation of CRs ensuring alignment with all stakeholders. This is a broad role including involvement at all levels, from interacting with management through hands-on work with delivery teams. IT Software Engineering Coordinator
Coordinate and ensure requirements clarification and finalization of CRs for all affected development teams
Drive the technical analysis phase, prepare the solution outline and also coordinate the solution design and development for all CRs
Ensure alignment of the software solutions with architecture, information security, infrastructure, IT operations, etc. teams for all CRs
Coordinate development vendors for the sizing, resources, financials and implementation of all CRs
Own the Software Development process within Cembra, ensuring a smooth and auditable process that is understood by all stakeholders across the Bank
Define robust KPIs and Metrics for the Software Development process and establish a reporting dashboard, including creation of reports suitable for the respective management levels
Liaise with third party vendors and contractors to ensure that Software Development process is understood and correctly executed and also to coordinate respective implementations
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholder functions such as Change and Release Management, Test Management, Service Transition and Operations
Willing to understand all aspects, functional/business and technical, of the IT applications' landscape so that you can be effectively and actively contribute to the Bank's technical and design decisions
Master or Bachelor in Computer Science (or equivalent degree)
5+ years' of software development/engineering in any object oriented programming language, preferably in java
Previous experience leading a software engineering team or demonstrable experience in a similar area
Working with and managing external software engineering teams and software development vendors
ITIL Foundation certification and previous technical Project Management experience are a must
Any project management certification (Prince2 , PMP, etc.) is a plus
Team player who quickly and easily adapts to changing situations, not afraid to take end-to-end ownership of tasks and responsibilities while displaying genuine commitment
Strong communication skills and an open style to provide transparency to management
Excellent working knowledge of English (written and spoken) required. German advantageous
